Governor's 2008 Environmental Excellence
Awards Applications Available
The New
Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is pleased to announce the
application process
for the
2008 Governor's Environmental Excellence Awards. This awards
program was established
in 2000
by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to
recognize outstanding environmental performance, programs and projects
in the state. Interest and support for this
program has grown
each year. This year, we are pleased to announce the
expansion of the awards
to include the Clean Water New Jersey Awards program. DEP's Clean Water
New Jersey Program promotes statewide stormwater education to reduce the
amount of pollution entering New Jersey's surface and ground
waters. To
