• Democrats ask for unsealed subpoena The Legislature's Democratic leaders are seeking
  a court order to unseal a federal subpoena at the center of a politically charged corruption
  investigation. They say the unsealing is necessary to dispel misinformation about an effort by

• Sports authority defers bill payments Shaken by an ethics investigation of its chief executive,
  the NJ Sports and Exposition Authority's board decided yesterday not to pay any of its bills until

• NJ waterways fail pollution standards Seventy percent of the state's waters -- including crucial

• NJ to contest parts of decision on affordable housing The state will fight parts of a January
  court ruling that invalidated rules telling towns what they must do to make housing available to low-

• State House releases staff salaries The state House of Representatives this morning released
  a list of salaries of its 1,898 employees Post-Gazette

• DeWeese stops using driver The state House's top Democrat has ended the practice of paying
  a driver to transport him to meetings around the state and from his district to the Capitol Post-Gazette

  rejected a plan for a housing development in the farmland protection zoning district
