• State issues violation notices to owners of 57 dams If owners continue to fail to
  comply with emergency action plan requirements, DEP will order the dams drained
  and assess civil penalties of up to $10,000 for failure to comply PA-DEP

• Sense of normalcy returns to Polk The borough was returning to normal Tuesday,
  a week after water from heavy rains overflowed the Polk Center dam and spilled into
  Little Sandy Creek, flooding about 50 homes and a few businesses and forcing the
